The handing over ceremony on Maiana Island last week Tuesday 04/06/2019 signifies the last implementation of the Kiriwatsan Phase II project in Kiribati which has been existed on 8 outer islands covering a total of 35 villages for the last five years, working on improving water supply and sanitation systems to improve lives in outer islands which is in line with the Kiribati Vision for the next 20 years.

The Kiribati Government Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy (MISE) through Energy Planning Unit (EPU) is pleased to informs you that a tender for the supply of one (1) 8kWp PV Solar Off Grid Power Systems, one (1) 6kWp PV Solar Off Grid Power System and two (2)15kWp PV Solar Off Grid Power system and three (3) 250 liter/hour RO Desalination plant for vulnerable rural communities in Kiribati is now open until the 14th June 2019.

The ceremony of a completed two-year Nippon Causeway construction was officially handed over to the government of Kiribati on the 17th April at Tenimanraoi Mwaneaba, Betio. The celebration not only marks the completion of the hard work undertaken by teams from both Japan and Kiribati which has resulted in the improved connectivity between villages but also strengthens and deepens the integration with the Government and people of Japan.
